In September 2015, a new development agenda was enshrined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With an aim to leave no one behind, the 17 SDGs succeeded the work of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) as the world’s agenda for development for the next 15 years. As the process of finalizing the indicators at the universal level is still ongoing, this project has contributed to the collective global effort to improve the measuring and monitoring of SDG indicators through the following research activities:
