Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development
-

A crucial part of SIPRI’s work on peace and development is the Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development.

Held annually, the Stockholm Forum is a dialogue-driven event that provides a neutral platform for interdisciplinary exchange among high-level experts from the peace and development communities through a series of workshops, plenary sessions, presentations and informal meetings.

The discussion-led roundtable sessions–which the Stockholm Forum is well-known for–are developed in collaboration with partner organisations and invite active participation from stakeholders at all levels.

In 2017, SIPRI produced an 8-minute film to show why the annual event has become a major meeting point to share, discuss and problem-solve issues in peace and development.

Follow the Stockholm Forum on Twitter with #SthlmForum and watch livestreams of the plenary sessions through SIPRI’s YouTube channel.
