SIPRI is collaborating with partners to develop a practice network to assess impact and effectiveness of peacebuilding as it pertains to violent extremism and radicalization. Members of the network will explore the current state of knowledge on preventing violent extremism approaches, with a special emphasis on how this is done through a peacebuilding and development lens.

The aim of the working group is to identify good practices and lessons learned through consultation and research to advise policymakers on the most effective means of integrating responses to violent extremism into future peacebuilding programmes.
