Diego Lopes da Silva

Diego Lopes da Silva is a Guest Researcher with the SIPRI Arms and Military Expenditure Programme. He holds a Master’s degree in Peace, Defense and International Security from São Paulo State University and currently is a PhD candidate at the same institution. His research explores the political consequences of arms import dependence in South America. His publications have mainly addressed issues of arms trade and transparency in military expenditure.
