SIPRI co-hosts workshop on Russian interests in China's Silk Road initiative

SIPRI's Dr Lora Saalman, Richard Ghiasy and Jiayi Zhou co-hosted the fourth of a series of five regional workshops for the Silk Road Economic Belt - Seeking Common Security Interests between the EU and China project in Moscow, Russia. This workshop discussed the compatibility of the Silk Road Economic Belt with Russian national security interests and its security interests in Central and South Asia.

The workshop was held with the kind support of the local Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) office and the Higher School of Economics (HSE).
