Louison Férant

Louison joined SIPRI was an Intern with the Dual-Use and Arms Trade Control Programme in September 2022. She is mapping cooperation and assistance activities on the Arms Trade Treaty and other Small Arms and Light Weapons control instruments and supporting research on gender based firearms violence in the European Union (EU). Louison is also conducting background research and data collection related to dual-use and arms trade control, with a focus on the EU and the Gulf region.

Prior to joining SIPRI, Louison was an Intern in the Arms Control and OSCE Department of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She graduated from Sciences Po Lille with a MA in European and International Affairs, majoring in Conflicts and Development Studies.
