Ffion McEvoy

Ffion is an intern in SIPRI’s Climate Change and Risk Programme. She has undertaken an internship with the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre on extreme heat in urban settings, developing behaviour change communication campaigns from heat risk perception studies in Indonesia, Tanzania and Honduras. She also completed an internship with the Danish Refugee Council on interactions between displacement, climate change and environmental degradation, focusing on Yemen, South Sudan and Venezuela. Prior to this, she carried out an internship at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons on science communication surrounding the Chemical Weapons Convention.
