Nino Natsvlishvili

Nino Natsvlishvili is an intern with SIPRI’s Peace and Development research theme, supporting research and coordination on the links between climate change, peace and security. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Development and Management at Lund University as a Swedish Institute scholar.

Before joining SIPRI, Natsvlishvili worked in development cooperation in Georgia, coordinating donor-funded projects and conducting policy-oriented research. Her work has covered natural resource governance, rural development, local governance, civic engagement and support for conflict-affected communities. Her professional and academic interests also include sustainable business, ESG and the relationship between business development and environmental governance. Most recently, she led enterprise support activities under Georgia’s forest sector reform programme at the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation.
