The ACLED team conducts analysis to describe, explore, and test conflict scenarios, and makes both data and analysis open for free use by the public.

Artas Foundation

The Swiss foundation for art in conflict regions, initiates its own art projects, accompanies their realisation and studies how providing room for art can promote conflict mediation and peacebuilding. It is an independent, politically unaffiliated, active foundation. Financed by private contributions, it was established in 2011.


Berghof Foundation

Berghof Foundation is an independent, non-governmental and non-profit organisation, founded in 1971, located in Berlin, Germany. They support people in conflict in their efforts to achieve sustainable peace through conflict transformation and peacebuilding.


CDA practical Learning for International Action

CDA engages complex questions to unlock positive, systemic change wherever communities experience fragility and conflict. Sitting at the intersection of applied research, global policy, and local practice, we partner with humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding practitioners to develop practical resources and policy guidance for lasting change.


Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC)

Center for Civilians in Conflict envisions a world in which no civilian is harmed in conflict. CIVIC support communities affected by conflict in their quest for protection and strengthen the resolve and capacity of armed actors to prevent and respond to civilian harm.


Centre for International Peace Operations (ZIF)

The Center for International Peace Operations was established in 2002 by the Federal Government of Germany and the German Parliament to strengthen international civilian capacities for crisis prevention, conflict resolution and peacebuilding. It is a non-profit limited liability company, whose sole shareholder is the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the German Federal Foreign Office.


Centre for Social Change (CSC)

Founded in 2015, Centre for Social Change (CSC) is a non-profit making social think-tank based in Kathmandu, Nepal working on the changing socio-political dynamics of Nepalese society via research, education, advocacy and through community mobilization.


CMC Finland

CMC Finland is tasked with the training, recruitment and duty of care of Finnish civilian experts deployed to international peace operations and missions (EU, UN, OSCE). The center also contributes to improving the effectiveness of peace operations through research and international cooperation. CMC Finland operates in conjunction with the Finnish Ministry of the Interior, with a mandate based on the Act on the Participation of Civilian Personnel in Crisis Management (2004/2018).


CMI - Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation

CMI — Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation is an independent Finnish organisation, founded in 2000 by Nobel Peace Laureate and former President of Finland Martti Ahtisaari, that works to prevent and resolve conflicts through dialogue and mediation. CMI’s vision is that all conflicts can be resolved.



Cordaid is an internationally operating value-based emergency relief and development organization, mostly working in conflict-affected countries. It is one of the biggest international development organizations in the Netherlands, with a network of hundreds of partner organizations in countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.


Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation

The Dag Hammarskjöld Foundation is a non-governmental organisation established in memory of the second Secretary-General of the United Nations. Working in the spirit of Dag Hammarskjöld, they aim to strengthen policy on international cooperation, development and peacebuilding through dialogue, meetings and publications.


DCAF - Geneva Center for Security Sector Governance

DCAF - Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance is dedicated to making states and people safer through more effective and accountable security and justice. Since 2000, the Centre has facilitated, driven and shaped security sector reform (SSR) policy and programming around the world.


Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ)

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH, often simply shortened to GIZ, is the main German development agency. It is headquartered in Bonn and Eschborn and provides services in the field of international development cooperation and international education work.



FHI 360 is a nonprofit human development organization dedicated to improving lives in lasting ways by advancing integrated, locally driven solutions.


Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA)

The Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) is the Swedish government agency for peace, security and development. FBA supports international peace operations and international development cooperation. The agency conducts training, research and method development in order to strengthen peacebuilding and statebuilding in conflict and post-conflict countries.

Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES)

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) is the oldest political foundation in Germany with a rich tradition in social democracy dating back to its foundation in 1925. The foundation owes its formation and its mission to the political legacy of its namesake Friedrich Ebert, the first democratically elected German President.

Food nexus

The Fighting Food Crises along the Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus Coalition

The Fighting Food Crises along the Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus Coalition emerged through the United Nations Food Systems Summit, held in September 2021. Against the background of the increase in world hunger since 2015, driven primarily by violent conflict and the impact of climate change, the coalition aims to contribute to ending hunger through pursuing peace and unleashing the potential of sustainable food systems to enhance the prospects for peace.


European Union Directorate General for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations

The Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Civil Aid Operations provides humanitarian emergency and disaster response on behalf of the European Union. ECHO is one of the main partners to UNICEF in humanitarian response.

They are dedicated to improving humanitarian policy and practice through a combination of high-quality analysis, dialogue and debate. ODI is an independent, global affairs think tank. Humanium Metal is transforming illegal seized firearms from governmental weapons destruction programmes in regions affected by armed violence into non-lethal commodities for peace. The income generated with Humanium Metal is re-invested into communities affected by gun violence, aiming to break the vicious cycle of violence and poverty. Through the initiative the private sector, right-holders, civil society, consumers and governments are connected in a virtuous cycle for peace and security.

International Labour Organisation (ILO)

The International Labour Organization (ILO) is a specialized tripartite agency of the United Nations. Since 1919 the ILO brings together governments, employers and workers of 187 member States to set labour standards, develop policies and devise programmes promoting decent work for all women and men. The ILO is devoted to promoting social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights, pursuing its founding mission that social justice is essential to universal and lasting peace. Interpeace is an international organization that prevents violence and builds lasting peace. We have 27 years of experience working in Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Latin America.



Established in 1951, IOM is the leading intergovernmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental and non- governmental partners. With 174 member states, a further 8 states holding observer status and offices in over 100 countries, IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants. Norwegian Institue of International Affairs

NUPI was created by the Norwegian Parliament in 1959. The institute was not a result of a thoughtful plan, but by two independent initiatives fused. One had its roots in the political environment surrounding the Parliament and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the other came from a young student in the history of ideas, later political science professor Knut Midgaard.

Peace in Our Cities

The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency is a government agency of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Sida is responsible for organization of the bulk of Sweden's official development assistance to developing countries.
