Ann-Sophie Böhle

Ann-Sophie is a Research Assistant with SIPRI’s Major Initiatives team. She has also contributed to SIPRI’s Climate Change and Risk Programme, where she conducted research and provided policy advice on climate–security. Her work focuses on human security and on leveraging environmental and climate action as integrated approaches to peacebuilding and stabilisation.

She holds a MSc in Climate Change Management and a BSc in Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation. Before joining SIPRI, she completed a traineeship at the European Commission’s Climate, Infrastructure and Environment and Executive Agency (CINEA), where she supported the management of several climate research and innovation action projects and contributed to policy feedback. During her studies, she also gained experience in sustainability management and worked on regional sustainable development initiatives.
