All publications issued in SIPRI’s regular series in 2025 and 2026 are now available in full-text HTML on the SIPRI website. Future publications in these series will also be available in this format. Readers can access complete publications directly in their browser, alongside the existing downloadable PDFs.

The HTML editions offer layouts that adjust to different screen sizes, making publications easier to read on computers, tablets and mobile phones. The new format also offers interactive content menus to help readers move between sections, and linked references make it easier to access the sources supporting the research. Many publications also include interactive charts, maps and tables, allowing readers to explore SIPRI data in greater detail.
The format makes SIPRI research easier to find, navigate and use and easier for search engines to index. It also enables digital research tools, including AI-assisted search services, to retrieve and process it.
