Round-table discussion with Ukrainian Minister of Defence Oleksii Reznikov
On 15 December 2021, SIPRI hosted Ukrainian Minister of Defence Oleksii Reznikov, as part of his official visit to Sweden.
During the visit, the minister engaged in a round-table discussion with SIPRI experts, as well as senior experts and representatives from international organizations and agencies. SIPRI Director Dan Smith welcomed Reznikov and the delegation. Dr Ian Anthony, Senior Researcher and Director of the SIPRI European Security Programme, presided over a constructive and relevant discussion with the minister on pressing issues in European security.
Reznikov was accompanied by Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Defence Oleksandr Polishchuk and Ukrainian Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Lt Gen. Yevhen Moisyuk.
