On Friday 19 February, Dan Smith, SIPRI Director, and Renata Dwan, Deputy Director of Chatham House, gave an informal briefing on ‘conflict futures’ to the 15 United Nations Security Council permanent and non-permanent representatives. The meeting was hosted by the United Kingdom Mission to the UN in New York.

Representatives from the UN Security Council met in person at the Greentree Estate on Long Island, New York, with Smith and Dwan joining remotely.
