    Carina Solmirano attended an expert meeting on the Post-2015 Development Agenda, organized by the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Children's Fund, and the United Nations Peacebuilding Support Office, in cooperation with the Institute for Economics and Peace.

    Sibylle Bauer and Aaron Dunne gave presentations at the International Export Control Cooperation and Outreach Dialogue, organized by the EU and the US Department of State.

    Sibylle Bauer gave a presentation on implementing the EU Common Position on Arms Exports at the Second Consultative Meeting of the EU Non-Proliferation Consortium.

    Oliver Bräuner participated in the Europe China Research and Advice Network's Annual Conference, '10 Years of EU-China Strategic Partnership', giving a presentation on EU–China science and technology cooperation and technology transfers.

    Pieter Wezeman participated in a panel discussion at Defence Trade Day 2013, organized by the Swedish Defence and Security Export Agency (FXM), that also included the Swedish Minister of Defence and the Director Public Procurement of the EU Internal Market and Services Directorate General.

    Mark Bromley spoke at a meeting of the EPAC's ad-hoc working group on Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW) and mine action, giving a presentation on strengthening oversight and control of SALW transfers to fragile states, based on the results of a recent research project carried out by the SIPRI arms transfers programme on behalf of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

    Jaïr van der Lijn spoke at a Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung workshop (agenda, PDF) on new impulses in peacekeeping and peacebuilding.

    Mark Bromley spoke at a seminar on recent trends in EU member states' arms exports organized by the Greens and the European Free Alliance in the European Parliament, giving a presentation on recommendations for a more strict, transparent and well functioning arms export control regime.

    Neil Melvin, Jaïr van der Lijn and Xenia Avezov gave presentations at a workshop (agenda, PDF) co-organized by SIPRI and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, entitled Peacekeeping Policy in Focus: Ongoing initiatives and recent findings.
