Valery Guevara Rodriguez

Valery Guevara is a communications intern at SIPRI, supporting the team’s work on outreach and dissemination with a focus on media. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in International Security at the Paris School of International Affairs in Sciences Po Paris, concentrating in Global Risks and Environment & Sustainability. Before starting her master’s program, she did an internship at the Agency for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Latin America and the Caribbean (OPANAL), where she conducted research related to security, regional and international in the field of global nuclear security, she also supported official meetings and helped with the logistics and organization of the 10th Summer School on Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament for diplomats, and she also worked as a research assistant at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Sciences and Humanities (CEIICH) at UNAM in Mexico City.
