Thomas Bacchelli

Thomas is an intern in the Events Department at SIPRI, supporting the organization of the 2024 Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development. He is assisting the Major Events Manager and the Communications Officers with events management, communications, and provides logistical support to the Forum and on-site.

Prior to joining SIPRI, he has made two academic exchanges to strengthen his expertise. One to study Securities Studies at Babeș-Bolyai University in Romania, and one to study Human Rights and Peacebuilding at Göteborg University in Sweden. His areas of interest include conflict analysis, food security and migration.
