Mandy Renardy is an intern in the SIPRI Sahel West Africa Programme. Mandy is currently doing her Master studies in International Cooperation and Development at the University of Liège in Belgium. Before joining SIPRI, she obtained her bachelor degree in social work, which lead her to an internship as a social worker in West Africa, more specifically in Togo.
During the first year of her studies, her work has focused on the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1540 by the European Union, notably through the CBRN Centres Of Excellence. Additionally, she was also a student-instructor in qualitative research methodology. Through her internship experience at SIPRI, she’s mainly involved in a Peacebuilding Project in the Sahel region.
