Frank Esparraga is an Editor at SIPRI. Since joining the institute in 2017, he has worked across research publications and digital communications, helping make complex findings accessible to different audiences.
He works with researchers and communications colleagues to identify stories and plan content around SIPRI’s major data launches. He writes and edits material ranging from long-form publications to web copy and press materials, and leads SIPRI’s data visualization work, developing graphics and visual stories for web and social media. His work also includes video production and using audience analytics to inform content planning.
Before SIPRI, he worked in research, editorial and communications roles at organizations including the Parliament of New South Wales, the Swedish Defence University and the Institute for Security and Development Policy.
