Anna Masaříková is an intern in SIPRI’s Climate Change and Risk Programme, where she supports research on the links between climate, peace, and security. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies – Diplomacy and a Master’s degree in International Relations, and is currently pursuing a second Master’s in Globalization, Environment, and Social Change at Stockholm University.
Having lived in multiple countries from an early age, Anna has been exposed to diverse cultures, perspectives, and global challenges, fostering a broad curiosity and an interdisciplinary approach. Through her studies, she has developed skills in qualitative research, media and policy analysis, and has engaged with topics ranging from human rights and global conflict to climate finance and climate justice. Guided by curiosity and a commitment to learning, she is motivated to explore how research and policy can meaningfully contribute to sustainable and peaceful futures.
