Alina Hueber is a Talos fellow in the SIPRI Governance of Artificial Intelligence Programme, supporting the team’s research on military applications of AI, particularly regarding AI decision support systems. She is currently doing the Erasmus Mundus International Master in Security, Intelligence and Strategic Studies (IMSISS) and developing a strong foundation in security research and intelligence analysis. Previously, Hueber completed her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, with a thesis on nuclear governance lessons for AI. She has also done an internship in the Intelligence Solutions team at Everstream Analytics, where she conducted daily media monitoring and analysis to identify supply chain disruptions in real time. Before that, she gained diplomatic exposure as an intern at the German embassy in Tokyo.
