Alejandra is an intern in the Major Initiatives team at SIPRI, where she supports internal coordination, the strategic planning of cross-cluster initiatives, and other key engagements. She previously worked at the Ideas & Debate Association in Madrid, Spain, where she contributed to organizing and supporting European and national projects, mainly for European youth and students engaged in peace and development. She was part of the organizing team for Spain’s first NATO simulation model, PlayingNATO. She has also worked as a research intern and assistant during her studies at the European University of Madrid.
More recently, she has been involved as a corporate liaison for the Swedish Defence University Student Union’s Career Committee, organizing various projects and initiatives, including the KOMPASS 2025 Career Fair. She holds a BA in International Relations from the European University of Madrid and is currently completing an MSc in War and Defence Studies at the Swedish Defence University (Försvarshögskolan).
