Karolina Eklöw

Karolina Eklöw was the Coordinator of the Environment of Peace initiative at SIPRI. She joined the institute in August 2018 as a Research Assistant with the Climate Change and Risk Programme. Her research focuses on multilateral policy and institutional responses to climate-related security risks. 

During her studies in Political Science she was an exchange student in China and Spain, worked at a start-up in Washington D.C and conducted three months of field research in Colombia. Karolina interned at UNDP as well as at the Mission of Sweden to the UN in New York, during its membership in the Security Council.
