Stephanie Blenckner joined SIPRI in January 2009. In her position as Communications Director, she is responsible for the development and implementation of communications strategies, media events, public events, the SIPRI website, the monthly newsletter and image-related issues. Before coming to SIPRI Stephanie led the communications team at the Stockholm International Water Institute, another Swedish-based think tank involved in international water and development issues. She has also worked for several press agencies and publishers in Sweden and Germany.
