Harri Thomas is a Communications Officer at SIPRI, focusing on outreach and engagement activities. In this capacity, he is involved in diversifying the promotion of SIPRI’s research with additional tools (film and social media), facilitating dissemination and increasing the engagement with SIPRI’s numerous audiences.
Harri gained his MA from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and subsequently received a postgraduate scholarship to study at Emory University in the US state of Georgia. While there, he spent time working in the development department at The Carter Center, facilitating foreign government and donor interaction with the Center’s peace programmes.
