Ewen Le Clec’h is an intern in the SIPRI Sahel and West Africa Programme.

He conducts a media and literature monitoring on governance and security evolutions in West Africa. He also focuses on the topics of peacebuilding and violent extremism in the Sahel. Previously, he did an internship with a Tanzanian newspaper based in Dar es Salaam, where he wrote on development and human rights issues.

Ewen is currently working on a Master’s thesis that analyses peacebuilding activities in Mali and Central Africa.
