Amal is an intern with SIPRI's Arms Transfers programme. Amal graduated from the University of Turin with a Bachelor’s degree in Global Law and Transnational Legal Studies and she is now pursuing a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Otto-von-Guericke University. Her areas of interest include conflict analysis, migration, border securitization, critical geography, weapons exports and post-colonial studies.
