Edin is a Researcher and Projects Coordinator for the Countering Illicit Trafficking - Mechanism Assessment Projects. He joined SIPRI in 2009 as a intern with the arms transfers programme after working as an office manager for a public inquiry in Scotland. He holds an MA from the University of Glasgow where he specialized in European Union security policy. Edin's current research focuses on the methods used to transport illicit SALW and other destabilizing commodities.
