"The EU's Foreign Policy – how to forward internal unity and external strength? Views from Germany, Poland, Nordic and Baltic countries"

A seminar organized by SIPRI, the Swedish Institute of International Affairs (UI/SIIA) and the Institut für Europäische Politik (IEP). It was held at UI/SIIA, Drottning Kristinas väg 37 in Stockholm on May 30-31 2011.

The event  brought up some of the most crucial issues of European foreign policy. The question on how to combine internal cohesion and external capability was exemplified in four different areas: (1) subregional cooperation and variable geometry, (2) EEAS and other foreign policy initiatives, (3) ENP and Eastern Partnership and (4) the EU as a foreign policy actor in the Mediterranean and the Middle East regions.
