Proliferation Resistant Nuclear Technologies

On March 27-28, 2008, the Carnegie Moscow Center hosted a research workshop on “Proliferation-resistant Nuclear Technologies.” The event was jointly organized by the Carnegie Center, the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF), the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and NATO’s Science for Peace and Security program (SPS).

Experts from Russia, the United States, Canada, the UK and the EU discussed multilateral approaches to the nuclear fuel cycle, arms control and International Atomic Energy Association safeguards in the context of proliferation-resistant technologies.
