In recent years, the CAC Programme has addressed the following areas of CAC:

Confidence- and security-building measures in the post-cold war area covering Europe and Central Asia.

Adaptation, crisis and suspension of the CFE regime

Regional arms control approaches both in Europe and Asia
Moreover, the laws-of-war aspects of arms control have been analyzed in a global context.
Since 2006, SIPRI CAC Programme has been involved in the Berlin Seminars on Conventional Arms Control.
