Claire Fanchini is a research assistant for the SIPRI Armed Conflict and Conflict Management Programme and a Communications assistant for the Communications Department. She currently undertakes research on peace operations, collaborates to the elaboration of the SIPRI Multilateral Peace Operations Database and promotes the institute’s outreach to media and the interested public. She also contributes to the SIPRI project on Security and Governance in Africa. She holds a MA from the University of Evry (France) where she specialized in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.
