The NGOCDPS invites you to a briefing with SIPRI experts on how we can more effectively balance security needs and our responsibilities to the next generation.

The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) has provided data, analysis and recommendations to policymakers, researchers, media and NGOs since 1966. The most well-known of its publications is the SIPRI Yearbook. It is a leading work of reference on matters relating to armaments, disarmament and international security - including military expenditure.

The NGO Committee on Disarmament Peace and Security invites you to join this briefing where experts from SIPRI will present key findings from the SIPRI Yearbook 2010 regarding trends and patterns in military expenditure, with a special focus on the Latin American region.
