New SIPRI report: The Effectiveness of Foreign Military Assets in Natural Disaster Response
Commissioned and supported by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA)
The latest SIPRI report, which assesses the appropriateness and effectiveness of using foreign military forces in humanitarian work after natural disasters, was launched at an OCHA meeting at the UN Headquarters, New York, on 13 March.
