The Arms Transfers Project
The main task of the SIPRI Arms Transfers Project is maintaining The Arms Transfers Database, which contains information on all international transfers of major conventional weapons since 1950. The Project also:
Arms Transfers Database
Generate written and statistical reports on international transfers of major conventional weapons since 1950.
- collects data on the financial value of the arms trade;
- contributes a chapter to the annual SIPRI Yearbook;
- produces reports on international arms transfers; and
- collects information on international arms embargoes.
