Theresa Höghammar joined SIPRI in January 2009. She currently works as a Research Assistant for the Euro-Atlantic Security Programme and the Arms Control and Non-proliferation Programme at SIPRI. She holds a Masters Degree in Political Science from Uppsala University/Swedish National Defence College. She has previously worked as a disarmament, peace and security officer for the Swedish United Nations Association and with gender and security issues for the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom in Geneva.
