Arms Transfers Programme
The programme's main task is maintaining the SIPRI Arms Transfers Database, which contains information on all international transfers of major conventional weapons since 1950.
The programme also:
- collects data on the financial value of the arms trade
- contributes a chapter to the annual SIPRI Yearbook
- produces reports on international arms transfers and
- collects information on multilateral arms embargoes
