David Cruickshank has worked for SIPRI since August 2004, first as an editor, then as the managing editor of the SIPRI Yearbook, and now as Director of SIPRI’s Editorial and Publications Department. He is responsible for managing and developing SIPRI’s extensive publications list, from the SIPRI Yearbook and research monographs—published in partnership with Oxford University Press—to shorter papers, briefs and fact sheets. Before joining SIPRI, Dr Cruickshank was responsible for the production of the journals of the Applied Probability Trust at Sheffield University, UK.
