Kristofer Bergh is a researcher with the SIPRI Armed Conflict and Conflict Management Programme. He joined SIPRI as an intern in January 2009 and has since worked with the SIPRI Global Health and Security Programme. Kristofer has a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in international relations from the University of Stockholm and is currently finishing his master’s thesis in Peace and Conflict Research at the University of Uppsala. In April 2011 he joined the Armed Conflict and Conflict Management Programme as a researcher for its new project Arctic Futures, a joint effort of the Conflict Programme and the SIPRI China and Global Security Programme.

  • Examining relations between Arctic “insiders” and “outsiders”
  • Looking into domestic drivers for Canadian and US Arctic policies
